Nothing too exciting here!

Nothing too exciting going on here...just the usual day to day activities. Madelynn has been attending her weekly classes at "My Gym" in Frisco, which she LOVES and doesn't ever want it to be over. She has been talking more and more and adding more words to her vocab each day. Recently, my favorite thing has been her sounds. We will ask her "What does the snake say?" and she will say "SSSSSSSS" and wiggle. It is so cute. I love when we ask her "What does Cookie Monster say?" and she says "YUMYUMYUMYUMYUM!" and pretends to shove cookies in her mouth. She will also tell us what puppies, cows, lions, monkeys, pigs, trains, and ducks say. She loves to dance, and recently I have seen her try to copy the dances on Barney. She also sings along with Barney while she is watching. Here are some random pictures from lately...

Looking cute, and like such a big girl!

Playing with the other kids during circle time at "My Gym"

Making a giant mess with blackberries- which she obviously loved!

The Little Gym

Jeff and I decided that Madelynn needed more "socialization". She is super shy around people and will hang on to my leg and NOT let go. She also does not get to interact with other kids very often. I looked into some "Mommy and Me" programs and decided to go try out a free class. I was expecting a shy little girl who might cry, and would not leave my side. However, to my surprise, this is what I got.....

We are still going to try out a couple of other places, but as you can see...she loved it. Now she needs to learn how to pay attention and do the activities that are being asked of her...but she was having too much fun for that.

Snow!

Madelynn was not too sure how she felt about the snow this year. She seemed to kind of like it at first, but she really didn't like the cold wind that came along with it. Needless to say, we were only outside for about 3 minutes. (Enough time for pictures right?)
