Newest Hobby

I am in love with this new hobby! SO cute! Lets just hope Madelynn has hair...if not...thats okay because Shara gave me a handy dandy headband to clip all of these to! And for those of you who don't know me that well...yes...there is a particular outfit that each of these belongs to specifically.

Rubber Duckies

It was pointed out to me that I didn't have any pictures of the baby's bathroom. All of her stuff is rubber ducks...I love rubber ducks. She has lots of cute duck towels and wash cloths. Grandma even gave her a cute duck robe. I had the bathroom stuff for a LONG time (I think before I was even married...)so I was so excited to decorate. Mom brought it to me one afternoon, and I had it done before Jeff got home that night-painted stripes and all. I did this before I knew what gender the baby was, so it is fairly gender neutral.

Update

I was instructed that I needed to put my recent doctor visit update on here. My doctor and I were discussing how big I was getting (measured 35 1/2 when I was supposed to measure 33), and so induceing (is that a word?? induction???) came up. I asked about what he preferred and we discussed it for a little while. After asking me how much I weighed (8'11" and I was a month early) and Jeff (almost 11 lbs), he pretty much concluded that I would be induced up to two weeks early. He is going to be doing another sonogram at the end of the month, and we will probably determine a date then. He mentioned September the 9th (9/9/09), which I think would be cool...I just hope I am ready then. Well that is less than a month away, and I think that realizing this has scared Jeff completely. I am pretty scared, but I am also SUPER excited.

I also need to mention that Jeff has "Daddy Boot Camp" tonight at the hospital...I think it is adorable and wish I could be a fly on the wall to all of these men sitting around talking about babies. Last time at our baby care class, they had really good food (this hospital is supposed to have the best food...something about a 5 Star Chef) for us to eat, so I am a little jealous that he will be going without me. Secret Man Information...

ALSO...today is Jeff and I's 2 year wedding anniversary. We went to Olive Garden last night to celebrate, and of course it was yummy! I cannot believe it has been two years, but it has been great. I have a wonderful husband!

Baby Shower #2

A week ago Jeff's side of the family gave us a baby shower. It was a lot of fun! It wasn't your typical baby shower. The whole family was invited and after the "normal" baby shower games and gifts, we ate lasagna and went swimming. Madelynn got lots of great things! Thanks to Jeff's brother Tim and his wife for putting it all together, and having it at their house!
