Happy Easter!

We spent Easter over at Jeff's Grandma's House. We cooked out and the kids played outside. We had a great time!

Jeff got us tickets to go to the Mavericks Playoff Game on Saturday night so we decided to make it a weekend! We dropped Madelynn off at Jeff's Grandma's house and rode the train to Downtown Dallas. We checked into our hotel that was within walking distance of the arena, and went and walked around downtown. We went to the game (which was AWESOME...and we won!), ate dinner, and walked back to the hotel. We were hoping to go swimming the next day but the heated pool was a dirty. So instead we spent much needed time together and walked around the museums and such. I was so tired at the end of the day, but we had such a good time.

Life

Nothing too exciting happening around the Boyd household lately...just life. So I have posted some cute pictures below.

This is Madelynn at Chili's when we went with Mom and Shara for Mom's Birthday- Happy Birthday Mom!!!!! We thought it was funny that she just helped herself to the queso. She loves it!

There is a Subway next door to the "My Gym" where Madelynn takes her gym class. So, every week after class we walk next door and have Subway. This is one of our visits.

As most everyone knows...I love to do hair. I have been waiting for Madelynn's hair to get long enough to do things with for what seems like EVER. BUT...it is finally long enough for a short french braid. LOVE!

One day we met up with Amy to go shopping then we went to lunch with a bunch of the staff from Footlights. This is Madelynn and Snowy doing some shopping.

Spring Break

Well, it is the end of spring break. It went by WAY too fast as usual. We began the week by going to cousin Brady's Birthday party! He is two!!! The next day we spent some time with Grandma Gaila and Grandpa Jim. We went and ate lunch and went to the Little Elm Park by the lake. We had a lot of fun getting to spend time with them! Monday was spent at home, and Tuesday going shopping with Shara (and Brady, Logan, and Alanna). Wednesday I spent some much needed crafting time with my friend Michelle! On Thursday we left to go spend a couple of days with Great Mema and Pepa- We always love going to visit them! The traveling effected Madelynn's mood quite a bit, so we had quite the moody baby on our hands but it was still lots of fun. My camera batteries disappeared and I have not made it to the store to grab some new ones so this is the only picture I have for the week. Its kind of my tradition to get this same picture with Mema and Pepa each time we go. It is fun to go back and look at each visit since she was a little baby.

I realized today that I hadn't posted in several weeks, so I figured I would do sort of a recap!

Happy Valentines Day! This is M with her new pal Snowy. She LOVES this dog. Unfortunately when I went back to the store after Valentines they didn't have any more for me to buy and put away for when Snowy is not so Snowy any more.

Happy Super Bowl! Even though the Cowboys were not playing in the Super Bowl Madelynn is still sporting her Cowboys Tony Romo Jersey.

New fun game...climbing in and out of laundry baskets while Mom is trying to do laundry!

Crazy Hair

I have a page in Madelynn's Scrapbook that I add pictures of her on "Bad Hair Days". I think this one takes the cake! I love that second picture where it looks like she is pointing to it. I don't know what she was actually doing...but it made for a funny picture. HA!
